BlackhawkXIII ( talk) 02:49, 8 December 2012 (GMT) Can't loot soul embers inside Reaper's Lair I roamed the Soul Cairn for hours and found everything one could possibly find there (mind you, it was the least rewarding part of Skyrim I've ever played) but there was definitely no information about the Reaper. It seems significant that it drops a Daedra Heart, as if it's some kind of bound Daedra even though the Soul Cairn isn't ruled over by Daedric Princes like other Oblivion planes could it be intended to eliminate anything living that strays inside? Could just be some kind of easter egg bonus fight and little else, as there isn't much reward from killing it, could just be a nod to the grim reaper? - Haravikk ( talk) 15:20, 21 November 2012 (GMT) Honestly, I think it was something that was just thrown in to the Soul Cairn for the heck of it. It just seems kind of significant that the reaper gem fragments are scattered about and this Keeper-like executioner is sealed away in a dedicated building. If you use the console on a PC to go through the gate, there is no portal below it, just non-functional graphics.
